1.8T 20V & 2.0 TFSI Friction Disc for crankshaft bolt BAR-TEK®

Friction disc (friction disc with diamond coating) for fitting between the belt pulley and crankshaft for all 1.8T and 2.0 TFSI VW / Audi engines.Micro-movements occur at high torques at the crankshaft pulley screw connection. Even when using ARP screws , the connection is not 100% free of play. This can lead to a fatal defect in the pulley after a certain time. In the worst case scenario, the guide groove shears off, resulting in major engine damage!The friction disc increases friction by up to 300% and thus ensures a better bolted connection.As the disc is only very thin (0.1 mm), there are no problems with the timing belt drive.A must for engines with a lot of power!
