The new top-mount manifold Gen.2 from Turbo-Total has been specially developed for the 1.8T 20V engine and enables outputs of up to 700 hp! Compared to conventional turbocharging manifolds, this manifold has a 4-to-1 design, which enables turbocharging and significantly improves the response behaviour. With a cross-section of 48 mm and its flow-optimised design, this manifold ensures a higher flow rate and an impressive increase in power even in the medium engine speed range. 1.4849 cast stainless steel. The best of the best! We only use materials with the best properties for use in racing. We have therefore opted for a heat-resistant cast stainless steel with the little-known name "1.4849" as the alloy for our manifolds. It consists of a complex mixture of chromium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, niobium, phosphorus, sulphur and silicon . The most important characteristics of the material 1.4849 include its heat resistance of up to 1100 degrees Celsius and its high elongation at break. This makes it the material of dreams when it comes to the highest thermal and mechanical loads - and perfect for demanding applications in motorsport. It was therefore clear that we only wanted the best of the best for our components and your tuning projects! With three different adapter rings, this manifold is extremely versatile and compatible with Garrett, Turbosmart, Tial and Precision turbochargers (based on the respective exhaust sides). These adapter rings ensure seamless integration and optimum performance, regardless of the turbocharger brand chosen. The construction of this manifold is of the highest quality, made from robust material for durability and reliability under extreme conditions. Note: Depending on the design of the actuator, material must be removed from the valve cover to ensure sufficient clearance.
