The heat tape is simply wrapped around the fan pipes and fastened with Rödel wire or special stainless steel ties. There is a choice of two different widths and various lengths. Tip: Simply determine the required length of the titanium heat protection tape by wrapping a cable around the manifold. As a rough guide, you can take approximately 23 metres of the 25 mm wide tape for a manifold of a 4-cylinder engine. Installation tip: We recommend the special stainless steel fastening straps (stainless steel cable ties) or stainless steel safety wire for easy fastening of the heat protection tape.
