This kit consists of valve springs for intake and exhaust valves and titanium spring discs. With our all-round carefree package, your TFSI engine is equipped for boost pressures of up to 3 bar! This means that a higher engine speed is no problem. So you can enjoy full power without worrying about valve flutter or broken rocker arms! The valve springs are made of high-quality tempered steel and come in an adapted spring rate with titanium spring discs for all 2.0 TFSI EA113 engines (for example in the Golf 5 and Audi TT). They are made from a special heat-treated steel that has a high level of strength and toughness. They are specially coated and have a higher material thickness than standard springs. This makes them ideal for sporting use. Not only the material itself, but also the design of our valve springs is something special. Thanks to their oval shape, a larger valve lift is created. Among other things, this increases the speed stability of your engine. The conical design (the spring is narrower at the top) reduces the mass and also has a positive effect on the overall engine running. With the oval shape, we have also eliminated a problem that can go hand in hand with increased power and springs that are too weak. This is because turbocharged engines can have problems with the boost pressure if the valves or the discs and springs are too weak. By optimising the shape, we therefore ensure that the springs can't go on block (and break) and that the correct preload is always applied to the springs. As a result, the engine revs up more smoothly and there are no more problems with the boost pressure.
