Adapter plate for the crankcase ventilation, suitable for all 2.0L TSI of the third and fourth generation, such as e. g. in the Golf GTI, Audi S3, Cupra and many more. Ideal for the installation of a catch tank system for external crankcase ventilation and Dash 10 lines. This prevents creeping loss of boost pressure via the susceptible crankcase ventilation valve fitted as standard on TSI engines. Leaking PCV valves allow the boost pressure to escape into the crankcase, which not only reduces engine performance but also creates excessive overpressure in the crankshaft drive. This can cause further leaks in the engine. It can also lead to irregular idling.
