The auxiliary shafts on the EA888 engine ensure low-vibration, smooth and balanced engine running. We recommend replacing the needle bearings with every overhaul! The shafts should be replaced at the latest when the block is honed in order to avoid damage caused by abrasion during drilling and honing. The same colour as the series must be used.
