Oil Catchtank Kit from Volkswagen Racing for 2.0 TSI EA888 engines of the new generation 3. ONLY FROM USWITH TÜV DOCUMENT This kit must be used if your vehicle is used on the circuit!Otherwise there is a risk of engine damage due to sudden intake of engine oil into the combustion chamber!For us, this is currently the best kit on the market, because the VWR13G700 catchtank system from VWR prevents oil from entering the charge air system. All charge air lines and the intercooler therefore remain oil-free - so the intercooler works even more effectively! The advantage over other kits is that Volkswagen Racing relies on a 4-way principle, which ensures the separation of oil and condensation. A baffle plate deflects the oil vapours back into the engine before they condense. Adapter for engine ventilation on the valve cover Important information: On vehicles where the wiper water tank is mounted on the right-hand side, the VWR water tank is still required. This replaces the upper part of the water tank. This is particularly common in the first Golf R and Audi S3 models. Note on use in cold climates:The Catch tank is only designed for warm climates.In winter at temperatures below 0C°, the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would result in increased crankcase pressure, which can lead to engine damage. We recommend checking the catchtank system more frequently in winter or removing it completely for the cold period.
