It consists of 4-ply silicone and has maximum reinforcement thanks to woven layers. The original intake hose reduces the cross-section and is not designed as flow-enhancing, which in turn impedes the air flow.Especially in the case of more powerful 2.0L TSI engines, this impediment makes itself definitely felt. Our EA888 Gen 3 intake hose is absolutely stable even at high performances and does not contract. It is not porous and has a smooth, flow-enhancing surface.
