An aluminium conrods is significantly lighter than a steel connecting rod, so your engine revs up much faster and is much more responsive. The conrods also have no bushings for the piston pin. The aluminium is so perfectly machined and provides an excellent contact surface so that the piston pin runs directly in the aluminium.
