Our oil filter cap with connections for an external oil cooler is the ideal solution for regulating the high oil temperatures of your 3.0L TDI engine. TDI engines already struggle with high oil temperatures from the factory. If you are driving in midsummer or your vehicle is performance-optimised, temperatures of 140° C are not uncommon. Our oil filter cap connects the oil filter of your 3.0L TDI with the oil cooler kit. The oil cooler kit prevents high oil temperatures, ensuring constant oil pressure and optimum oil quality. This has a positive effect on the service life of your TDI engine.
