X-shaft steel connecting rods for the BMW S63 V8 engine with 4.4 litre displacement and 138.2 x 22 mm conrods. You need the steel connecting rods for performance upgrades, turbo or supercharger conversions and high-revving concepts, as the original conrods were not developed for high loads. The conrods are even durable over 1400 hp ! The design of the X-shaft conrods ensures that they can withstand extreme pressure loads. They have enormous rigidity and are therefore very stable. Although they are milled from solid material, they are also very light. This makes them ideal for motorsport, where every gram counts.
