The Kompact VR02 BOV from Turbosmart was specially developed for the Hyundai Veloster Turbo. The Veloster's factory bypass valve is a plastic unit that becomes brittle and wears out over time. It can also break open at high boost pressure values - especially if the boost pressure is increased above the standard value. The Kompact VR02 has a unique design that fits into the tight mounting position of the Veloster's factory bypass valve. The result is a product that is truly a direct replacement for the OEM valve and requires no cutting or special tools for a 100% reversible installation. Made from billet aluminium, the VR02 cannot be overpowered by boost pressure and will not break like the standard plastic part. The Dual Port provides a stunning sound when the rider comes off the throttle while continuing to feed air back into the intake tract like the standard valve. The Kompact VR02 Dual Port has a modular design. It can be easily converted from the standard 50:50 setting to a full recirculation or a complete bleed valve, depending on the rider's preference.
