The Cool-It Mat is the perfect protection for heat and sound. It can be used at various parts and is self glueing. The Mylar surface reflects the heat and the foil surface conductes the heat away. The Cool-It Mat consists of a resin-bonded silicia blanketing insulation which is between a Mylar surface and a foil surface. The inner part is for Soundprotection.
