The oil vapours are filtered and released into the atmosphere.The advantages of this system are: No contamination of the intake valves and the intake tract. Note on use in cold climates:The Catch tank is only designed for a warm climate.In winter at temperatures below 0C°, the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would result in increased crankcase pressure, which can lead to engine damage. We recommend checking the catchtank system more frequently in winter or removing it completely for the cold period.
