The aluminum cooler is made in layered construction from 25 pressed aluminum plates. The oil can circulate freely between these plates with low pressure loss. Turbulators ensure an even distribution of the oil to the cooling chambers. Optimum heat dissipation is achieved by the internal swirl plates. Oil coolers of this design are standard for tuned engines.Maximum operating pressure of the oil cooler is 11 bar (165psi). Depending on size and placement, a reduction in oil temperature of up to 30°C is achieved.
