Spigot bearing modification for 02M & 02Q gearbox BAR-TEK®
The biggest weakness in the 02M & 02Q transmissions is the 4th gear. There is a risk that at high torque, the input shaft will vibrate and thus the shaft pushed away from the opposite waves and thus the pair of gear wheel of 4th gear no longer runs properly into each other. Episode: the 4th gear breaks! We extend the drive shaft by an extension, which then intercepts the vibrations in a pilot bearing in the crankshaft. The advantages of the pilot camp: Less vibration of the shaft possible Less wear on the clutch and gearbox Easier switching Durability of the entire engine is much higher You wish the installation in our house BAR-TEK? No problem: just send us your gear. We will then dismantle it, clean it, assemble the shaft and reassemble it. Installation of differential locks also possible. Price on request.
