Turbosmart StraightGate76 ESG76 Electronic external gate wastegate

The Turbosmart StraightGate76 is a butterfly-style wastegate, which is ideal for small engine compartments or where space is at a premium. The StraightGate76 is characterised by the high flow rate and the almost linear control of the boost pressure. Hoses, springs or diaphragms are no longer required; instead, everything is controlled by an electric servomotor, resulting in a high level of reliability. Integrated sensors record the temperature of the servomotor and the position of the valve. The electronic control enables the widest possible boost pressure setting window, from zero to the highest possible boost pressures. Efficiency is significantly increased compared to a conventional wastegate, as the exhaust gas does not have to be deflected by 90 degrees.
