Forged high-performance pistons from JE Piston for all VW 2.8L V6 24V engines. Features: Extremely light due to special alloy Reinforced for maximum performance Also for standard bore 81.00mm 20mm piston pin Complete set incl. piston pin, rings and clips Installation and drilling dimensions included For VW 2.8L V6 24V with engine code AMV, AQP, AUE, AYL, BDE, ABV. The specified compression is in conjunction with a 0.65mm cylinder head gasket. Price for a set of JE piston without coating, but this can be specially manufactured by JE for an additional charge. The special coating can be ordered separately from us. (see below) As the standard connecting rods cannot withstand a power increase from 300 hp, we recommend using steel connecting rods. From a boost pressure of 2 bar, reinforced TURBO piston pins must be used. (see below)
