Forged high-performance pistons from Wiseco for VW 2.8-2.9L VR6 12V engines with turbo. Features: Original Wiseco Extremely light due to special alloy Reinforced for maximum performance Bore 82.00, 82.50 or 83.00mm ( standard 81.00mm ) 20mm piston pin 9:1 compression ratio Piston skirt coated for less friction Complete set incl. piston pin, rings and clips Installation and bore dimensions enclosed The specified compression is in conjunction with a 1.65mm cylinder head gasket. As the standard connecting rods cannot withstand a power increase from 300 hp, we recommend using steel connecting rods. From a boost pressure of 2 bar, reinforced TURBO piston pins must be used.
