The exhaust manifold as a component of the exhaust system must be able to withstand the high temperatures of the exhaust gases (over 900 °C). This VW 16V Turbo manifold with Twinscroll T4 flange is made of seamless ST37 steel or as a choice of temperature resistant stainless steel.
